Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Stubs mobile application and this website (together, “Stubs”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Stubs.

Stubs is an independent app operated from New York, New York, USA. It is not yet incorporated. You can reach us at contactstubs@gmail.com.

Who Can Use Stubs

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stubs. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Stubs with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Stubs you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Your Account

You need an account to use most of Stubs. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your Content

Stubs is a diary, and the concerts, notes, photos, and videos you add are yours. You keep ownership of everything you upload.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating Stubs for you: syncing it across your devices, generating your statistics, building your exportable tickets, and showing it to the people you choose to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for the content you add. By uploading it, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, or infringing
  • Impersonate another person, or tag or attribute shows in a way meant to mislead
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data without their permission
  • Interfere with, overload, probe, or reverse engineer the app or the services it depends on
  • Scrape, bulk export, or resell data from Stubs or from the third-party services it uses
  • Use Stubs to break any applicable law

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

Third-Party Content and Data

Stubs uses third-party services to look up concert, artist, and venue information, and to display artist artwork and other material alongside the shows you log. That content belongs to its respective owners and is provided subject to their own terms. We do not control it and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or available at any given time.

We may also use the setlist.fm API to provide setlist information for the shows you log. Any setlist content shown in Stubs is provided by setlist.fm and remains subject to setlist.fm’s terms of service. Stubs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by setlist.fm. Setlists there are contributed by other people and may be incomplete or incorrect.

The services we rely on may change over time, and a feature that depends on a third party may be added, altered, or withdrawn if that provider changes its terms or availability.

You may not extract, copy, or redistribute third-party data obtained through Stubs except as permitted by the relevant provider.

Exports and Sharing

Stubs lets you export tickets and share them to social platforms and elsewhere. Anything you choose to share leaves Stubs and is governed by the platform you share it to. You are responsible for what you publish, including any photos of other people.

Price and Availability

Stubs is currently free to download and use. We may introduce paid features in future, and we will make clear what is paid before you are charged. Any purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Stubs at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Disclaimers

Stubs is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Stubs will meet your requirements, that your data will always be preserved, or that concert information shown in the app is accurate.

Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. Stubs is a diary, not a backup service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stubs and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use Stubs.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Termination

You may stop using Stubs and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you use Stubs from outside the United States, you remain responsible for complying with your local laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Stubs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
